Vallevo produces some of our favorite wines in the store.  This one is a rose made from Montepulciano grape.  This is a medium body rose.  Starts off with bright strawberry followed by a bit of herbs and refreshing acidity and finish is dry but round.

Masciarelli is the largest organically farmed Estate in Italy. This everyday charmer is a nice marriage of old and new world styles. It has a bit of earthiness in an old world way, but plenty of fruit to please just about anyone! It has a slightly smoky and dusty nose with dark berries and leather. This is a lovely, gently sparkling wine from the Abruzzo region of Italy.  Quite rich with white peach on the nose. The palate has some nutty, caramel notes but finishes dry, with moderate acid and alcohol.  This is an Intriguing wine to be sure, and an excellent alternative to the ubiquitous Prosecco.
