Domaine de Montrieux White
Winemaker Emile Heredia has a huge amount of respect among the natural wine community in Paris. This beautiful Chenin is made in a partially oxidative style. It is crazy aromatic and savory all the way, showing a little sherry character and salty yeast with a hint of pine. This wine will start lively debate at any dinner party. Winemaking Details: Vinified in Used Barrel, Wild Yeast Fermentation, Unfiltered, Unfined, No SO2 Added
Jacques Puffeney Chardonnay
A forward and relatively supple vintage for Puffeney’s Chardonnay. Fresh and easygoing, but still with classic trad-Jura twang and that signature Puffeney “analog” texture (highlighting overall feel and presence over absolute clarity). As always, a great gateway drug. Winemaking Details: Wild Yeast Fermentation, Unfiltered, Unfined, Low SO2 Added
Donkey and Goat Roussanne "Stone Crusher"
Natural wine from California! This is made by husband and wife team, Tracey and Jared Brandt, who trained under Eric Texier in Rhone Valley. All their wines are fermented in wood vats and they add nothing at all except a small amount of sulfur at bottling. This white (orange) wine will surprise as it spent 16 days on the skins before it was pressed off to complete fermentation in neutral oak barrels. Honeysuckle, jasmine and nectarines mingle with cinnamon and apricot aromas to entice. On the palate, if not for the zippy acidity, this wine could easily be mistaken for a red with such weight, tannin and lingering finish. Winemaking Details: Low SO2 Added, Unfined, Unfiltered, Vegan, Spontaneous Yeast Fermentation, Foot Treading
Jacques Puffeney Savagnin
The Savagnin finds its true home in the Jura. It is speculated that the origin of this grape is the Traminer from northeastern Italy but, to us, the Savagnin of the Jura is a one-of-a-kind grape with the capacity to perform miracles. It is a fickle grape, not easy to ripen, that does best in poor soils infused with marne. Often harvested in mid-to-late October or often into November, Puffeney’s Savagnin is fermented in both steel cuve and wooden foudre; afterwards, the wine is racked into smaller oak barrels for aging.

Jacques Puffeney Cuvee Sacha
A step up in oxidative intensity from the Chardonnay but still beautifully balanced. This is roughly equal parts SA-vagnin and CHA-rdonnay (Get it?). This bottling is “non-millesime”—the Savagnin is slightly older than the Chardonnay. Winemaking Details: Wild Yeast Fermentation, Unfiltered, Unfined, Low SO2 Added
Denavolo Dinavola
This is an "orange wine", which is a white wine fermented with the grape skins like a red, and it's one of the best we've ever had. Made by La Stoppa's winemaker, Giulio Armani, this blend comes from 28-year old vines grown in Giulio's beautiful calcareous soils. The wine unfolds with sage and orange peel on the nose, followed by stone fruits and a hint of toffee, ending with a fine balance of tannins, acidity and a hint of dried herbs. The finish last for minutes!
Paolo Bea Santa Chiara
Orange peel and clove jump out of the glass with this beautiful orange wine from the master, Paolo Bea. Planted in the “Pagliaro” vineyard, a site with alternating layers of gravel and clay at 1300 feet above sea level with both east and southwest facing parcels. After crushing, the juice spends at least two weeks macerating on the skins, leaving a beautifully complex, slightly tannic "orange" wine that is one of our favorite indulgences. Try it with mujadarra!
Emidio Pepe Trebbiano d'Abruzzo
These are truly handmade wines in the beautiful and remote hills of Abruzzo. The Trebbiano doles out layers of flavor, floral notes, rose petals, jasmine and a touch of honey. This truly cult wines can age for years to come. Winemaking Details: Wild Yeast Fermentation, Unfiltered, No SO2 Added, Foot Treading
