Masciarelli Montepulciano d'Abruzzo
Masciarelli is the largest organically farmed Estate in Italy. This everyday charmer is a nice marriage of old and new world styles. It has a bit of earthiness in an old world way, but plenty of fruit to please just about anyone! It has a slightly smoky and dusty nose with dark berries and leather. Cherries, blackberries and chocolate round out the palate. This is a great "house wine" to have around for meals and friends. Winemaking Details: Stainless Steel Tank Fermentation
Villa Fiore Pinot Grigio
Villa Fiore is made in the Friuli Grave D.O.C. in Northern Italy by a small, family-run estate who also makes our popular Villa Marchesi Pinot Noir. They have been growing grapes for generations, have always practiced organic farming (which they just call farming) and have been making wine since 1960. The wine is surprisingly complex with distinctive aromas that range from herbaceous and minerally to floral and fruity. Flavors are characterized by ripe apricot, peach, melon and a bit of mineral. Winemaking Details: Stainless Steel Tank Fermentation
Tiburzi Colle Scancellato
This is wine makes friends easily, and it won us over from the first sip. Made mostly from Sangiovese, it has bright cherry fruit and just enough acidity to go with dinner. It's also one of the best values in the store. Winemaking Details: Unfiltered
Tiburzi Brigante
With floral and herbal notes on the nose, and refreshing lemon and stone fruit on the palate, this is a delicious medium bodied white. A great party wine and a worthy partner for all manner of lighter fare, this is a very well made wine for an extremely reasonable price.
Cantina Frentana Cococciola
Cococciola is as fun to say as it is to drink! This unusual grape from Abruzzo is rarely seen outside of its local area. Lots of herbs on the nose, followed by citrus and stone fruit. This goes well with lighter seafood dishes, and is great on its own before dinner. Winemaking Details: Fermented and Aged in Tank, Stainless Steel Tank Fermentation
Tiamo Chianti
The Tiamo Chianti DOCG comes from a certified organic vineyard near the hillside village of Montespertoli in Tuscany. The wine is a blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is made without any contact with wood in order to get as much of the fruit quality as possible. The resulting wine is soft and elegant and rich in flavor.
De Forville Barbera D’Alba
Classic ripe barbera fruit, with delicate acidty, teeny weeny bit of tannins, this is one the best barbera’s you will drink at a silly low price.
Tiamo Prosecco
Situated at the foot of the Venetos Pre-Alps, North of Venice, this is a co-op of small farmers working together, farming organically since 1953. The average age of the vines are between 15 and 25 years. This is a typical dry prosecco. Crisp and dry, a little ripe fruit and a super refreshing finish.
Boira Pinot Grigio
From a certified organic producer whose Pinot Grigio vines grow in limestone-rich soils, giving the wine a compelling mineral edge. This is as any good Pinot Grigio should be: crisp and dry but with a little more complexity than the run of the mill stuff.
Fuso Verdicchio
This is a mighty friendly wine. A zippy, green apple, tangerine, lime and mineral glass of happiness. The vines are grown on an ancient raised sea bed of clay, iron and mineral salts, and you can taste a hint of the sea on the finish. Winemaking Details: Aged in Tank
