This wine is a blend of 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes are sourced from the Entre-Deux-Mers region of Bordeaux - from a single estate which uses organic practices. Bright and juicy showcasing ripe black cherry fruit with a firm core and graceful, lengthy finish. What was once a dairy farm for over a century was converted to vineyards in 1984 and have since dedicated themselves to sustainability in both the vineyard and cellar. This chardonnay is surprising– big and creamy yet racy and bright without the use of oak. The nose and palate have notes of melon, lemon, and white nectarine aromas. It's rare to find a NY State wine so reasonably priced, delicious, and that fits our natural standards.

The late André Iché made honest wine that tasted of place, the Languedoc to be precise. This wine has always been a down-to-earth favorite of ours and we're glad the family are continuing to make this wine of bright plum and blackberry fruit, gentle mid-palate freshness and a tiny touch of tannins on the finish. Monastrell made in 80 year old Conofors (think dairy tanks but made of American Oak), this wine is filtered by gravity and, following tradition, is made in a slighty oxidative style which gives the wine its very unique character. This young wine is full body with lots of complexity but it is super easy to drink. The palate is full of wild strawberries and raspberries with a hint of spice and pepper.
Goes With: braised short ribs, roast chicken, any earthy mushroom dish
