Vallevo produces some of our favorite wines in the store. This one is a rose made from Montepulciano grape. This is a medium body rose. Starts off with bright strawberry followed by a bit of herbs and refreshing acidity and finish is dry but round.
The late André Iché made honest wine that tasted of place, the Languedoc to be precise. This is a lovely, balanced rosé made from Grenache that will please everyone at the table (or in the backyard, if you're lucky enough to have one). Fruit forward with a nose of strawberry and grapefruit, it has plenty of red fruit on the palate and finishes with bright acidity. Enjoy! Winemaking Details: Wild Yeast Fermentation
This rosé was racked by bleeding and opening the base of the vat while the wine is still light in color. Traditional vinification without clusters, aged in concrete vat with minimum sulfur. Rose peony color with a great aromatic red-fruit richness. The Grenache offers freshness on the palate with a persistent nectar on the nose. A crisp and fruit-forward wine. Winemaking Details: Unfiltered.
