Rémi Dufaitre is best known for his celebrated red wines hailing from a handful of different Beaujolais Crus, but this white is equally exceptional and exciting change of pace. If there is a fresher tasting white wine than this, we have not tried it. Yet it is also deeply complex and even puckish with a slight effervescence. Beautiful dense, but rounded weight and the best of fresh melon and tropical fruit one can expect from Chardonnay.
Goes with: cheeses, lighter pastas – lighter, fresh fare
