Saturday Afternoon Wine Tasting

Christian Venier is a true natural winemaker.  Located in the eastern section of Touraine, in France's Loire Valley, his family has been making wine and growing grapes in the region for generations.  He farms biodynamically, and does not add any sulfites to his wines at all.  This week's tasty morsel is made from 100% Pinot Noir, fermented in whole clusters with natural yeast.  The wine?  It seduces with aromas of fresh flowers and raspberries, then seals the deal with explosively fresh, red fruit.  The finish has a nice, lingering minerallity that makes you want another sip.  This wine is the real deal, so come on by this Saturday and give it a try!
