Hermanos Pecina Rioja Joven
Hermanos Pecina is located in the heart of Rioja Alta in the Sonsierra Riojana. Expert viticulturist Pedro Pecina, who managed the vineyards of Rioja Alta for nearly 20 years, is the owner of these 50 hectares of vines that average 30 years of age. All grapes are hand-harvested in 15 kilo baskets to ensure delicate treatment of the fruit.
Lopez de Heredia Vina Gravonia
There was a time when no one Stateside had heard of Lopez de Heredia - now it’s safe to say they’ve gained cult status and every cool wine bar in town carries them. Yet despite the fame, they have remained staunchly traditional, making old-school-style Rioja. Gravonia is an incredible aged white wine, made in a slightly oxidized manner from the local Viura grape. Pear, walnuts, quince, peach and wax....it’s quite complex. Drink it...savor it.
