Familie Bauer Zweigelt Klassik
Bright and spicy, Zweigelt is a very friendly red that goes with a wide variety of foods. Medium bodied with red fruits and earth on the nose, it follows with cherry, plum and a hint of black pepper on the palate. A great summer red, it goes with all sorts of barbecued meats and would even pair wit grilled salmon. If you haven't tried Zweigelt, you should, it's a great go-to, everyday pleasure of a wine! Tinhof Bio Rosé
A more "serious" structured rosé, this has plenty of red fruit that makes it a great year-round choice. Made from the very dark-skinned Blaufrankisch grape, it has aromas of blackberries and rasberry, floowed by plenty of strawberry and cherry on the palate. It has a full-bodied mouth feel, and finish with crisp acidity. Winemaking Details:
Zum Martin Sepp Grüner Veltliner
Martinshof is run by Michi Martin, one of the most dedicated winemakers you're likely to meet. Michi's passion for his homeland's champion grape is boundless, and he turns that passion into some of the freshest and tastiest Grüner around. Fresh, with clean citrus fruit and spirited acidty, you'll be glad that this one comes in a liter bottle (a full third more wine than a standard 750ml)!
Zum Martin Sepp Zweigelt
Zweigelt creates a lovely, soft, aromatic red wine reminiscent of pinot noir in its cherry/raspberry scent and taste, as well as in its gentle, supple tannins. Serve this wine slightly cool with anything from a roast pork loin to a grilled cheeseburger. It comes in in a one-liter bottle sealed with a crown cap. (Put an old cork in the bottle if you don't finish it right away.) A great bargain and a really good, “drink-now” red wine.
Birgit Eichinger Gruner Veltliner
The winery was founded in 1992 by Birgit Eichinger and her husband Christian. Her viticultural goal is "to optimize the natural aroma and flavor potential inherent in the grapes, matching varietals and terrain, practicing careful vineyard management and applying painstaking vinification." all the while respecting the "Less is More" natural principle. Her passion and dedication come through in her wines. This wine shows spice and floral notes on the nose, with yellow plum, apple and a bit of white pepper on the palate. With its mouth watering acidity, it goes down very easy.
